The EI Consortium's mission is to aid and advance organizations' research and practice in relation to emotional intelligence. Founded in 1996 by industry leaders including Daniel Goleman and Richard Boyatzis, the Consortium actively engages in EI research and its business applications. Its 53 members, including Genos founder and CEO Dr Ben Palmer, come from a wide range of backgrounds covering the academic, corporate, government and private realms.
