Leadership Updates
Updates from the CEO – Genos Australia
5 September 2025
Hi everyone, I hope you’ve had a great August, welcome to our September Newsletter and happy Spring (and happy Autum to our colleagues in the Northern Hemisphere). Like the weather, it feels like the Talent Management market in Australia is picking up.
August saw Genos Australia involved in a wide variety of projects. Some highlights included an Engagement Survey for a listed fintech organisation; Leader as Coach for a public Department of Education; and being chosen to supply EI Leadership multi-rater assessments for one of Australia’s largest clean energy businesses. We’ve also seen a big uptick in Certification programs this month with a number of Organisations ordering in-house programs for their OD and LD professionals including the Tasmanian State Service, Suse and a Local Council. I hope you’ve had a great start to the new Financial Year and can feel this uptick at your end.
We have a refreshed set of live virtual webinars you can attend starting this month and each month until the end of the year. You can find out more using this link https://www.genosinternational.com/product-knowledge-sessions. With Ian away on long service leave I’ll be delivering these until the end of the year and hope to see you there!
Thank you for the work you do and for choosing Genos for all your emotional intelligence assessment needs we look forward to supporting your next project.
Updates from the MD – Genos New Zealand
4 September 2025
August was a big month for us at Genos NZ! We’re excited to welcome six new certified practitioners to the fold - equipped and ready to use Genos assessments and development tools to help shape stronger emotional cultures and support people to better connect, collaborate, and communicate. Read on by clicking this link.
We’ve also been continuing our work with one of New Zealand’s leading hospitality and tourism businesses, rolling out a longitudinal, assessment-led development programme. This approach blends evidence-based methods with practical tools to grow emotional intelligence in real and meaningful ways. At the programme’s midpoint, participants described their experience as “insightful, practical, and highly relevant - offering fresh perspectives on emotional intelligence and leadership.” Even better, they’re already applying what they’ve learned - boosting teamwork, communication, and leadership impact across the business.
Looking ahead, September promises to be just as energising, with new projects kicking off - particularly in the employee engagement survey space. We’re excited to be supporting our clients in gathering the insights they need to strengthen culture, connection, leadership and performance.
